[Sponsored Review] Sexylook Extreme Whitening Duo Lifting Mask

Disclaimer: This post is a sponsored review, but the content is written by me based off of my experience with the product and not biased.

Sexylook Extreme Whitening Duo Lifting Mask (S$2 per pc, or $8.80 for a 5-pc box) is a sheet mask designed to 'gently nurture and hydrate skin and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for a fresher, younger looking complexion'. It uses black pearl extract, truffle extract and tranexamic acid for whitening and moisturizing effect. The mask is suitable for all skin types.

I love the cutting of the sheet most, because it's extremely functional and practical. It's of a special '3D' design, and have two pairs of hooks cover your ears - one of them is to lift up face and another pair is for chin. So you don't have to worry about the loose problem we always experience when using a sheet mask. Actually the mask was stretched too tight that my ears turned red and a bit painful - in a good way.

The mask is very easy to use - just place the face part as usual mask, hook the ears, then do the same to the up lift part for neck, and let it sit for 15-20 mins. After that, I would gently pat my face and finish by massaging the left over essences into my skin with my fingertips.

It smells a bit artificial, but not too much. This is very common in Taiwanese masks though, I would like to warn girls who are very sensitive to artificial smells to keep a distance.

After I removed the mask, my skin felt instantly lifted - the mask was so tight that I believe the lift comes from the physical strength. I also found my skin smoother and softer, with slightly improved texture and appearance. However, all these effects disappeared after I waked up the next morning.

I've been using Sexylook masks for almost a year. I mix it with other Taiwanese Masks (like My Beauty Diary, Neogence, and more) and try to use them at least 2-3 days a week. Since the effect doesn't really last long, so this frequent usage is needed to keep my skin glow.

For those interested, Sexylook is a Taiwanese brand and famous for their 3D design masks. I love their black head removal set a lot as well. You can purchase Sexylook products in singapore at Watsons, or www.secretive.sg.
